The Louisville Dermatology Institute is owned and operated by Dr. William F. Smith, M.D., with area locations in Shelbyville, KY, and Mount Washington, KY. Dr. Smith is also President and CEO of West Kentucky Dermatology, where he built a strong reputation for compassion, integrity, and the extraordinary care he has provided to patients for almost two decades.

Dr. Smith is a board-certified dermatologist and an honor graduate of Murray State University, with undergraduate degrees in engineering physics and math, and an honor graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine. His primary interests are medical and surgical dermatology, with an emphasis on the treatment of all types of skin cancer.

Meet Dr. William Smith, MD

Dr. William F. Smith is a board-certified dermatologist with more than twenty years’ experience. He is an honor graduate of Murray State University, with an undergraduate degree in engineering physics, and an honor graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine. His primary interests are medical and surgical dermatology, with an emphasis on the treatment of all types of skin cancer.
